Well, its official – I’m now engaged to be married. When I arrived from work on my vacation & met with Alana, I presented her with an engagement ring and she accepted. We’re thinking of setting a date for next Spring or Summer.

Not sure how much time I’m going to have for posting this month – looks like my holidays might be a little busier than expected :-)

  1. Wow….. let me be the first to congratulate you my friend, we are all so happy for you…

It was a long journey and you are now being rewarded.

This journey of yours and your documentation of it on this blog really helped so many of us.

I wish you two all the best.

  2. Nice! I hope I can follow suit. I leave in two weeks on a Latin only cruise out of Europe and then a few weeks later I’m moving to colombia in the hopes of finding the right girl. Anyways, congrats and keep up the good work with this site to help guys realize they have more options (and generally better quality options!) than American women. You should maybe create an “about me” section or a bio on yourself so guys know it works! Anyways, congrats!

  3. Congratulations on your engagement, Scott. I hope the two of you live an awesome life together. You will have to keep us posted on the events that follow.

  4. While the topic of this blog is to expose the situation of women in western society, it is important to realize that this is only the means to and end. When one of us reaches that end (or at least a landmark) I am glad to see that it is a cause for celebration.

It is all too easy to get caught up in the negativity we are surrounded with, but to buckle your belt, saddle up your britches and “put your money where your mouth is” should be the end goal we strive for. Thanks again for having this blog and increasing awareness of not only what is (in western society), but what can be!

  5. Congrations and thank you for great blog!
I am planning to follow a Russian course in Kiev or Odessa next summer. Can I ask you which course(s) you have followed? And were you satisfied with the teaching?

    • I went to a Russian-language school in Odessa, Ukraine. I looked at some of the schools that ran websites and I found their prices to be ridiculous. I went to Couchsurfing and made an account and emailed everyone in Odessa who spoke English and asked if anyone could refer me to a Russian tutor. One woman replied that she ran a Russian-language school and I signed up. I think I paid about $300 for a month of lessons, about 3 or 4 hours each morning. I looked for her on Couchsurfing and even tried calling her but I can’t make contact again – I think maybe she changed businesses. Anyhow, if an “interpreter” costs $10 per hour, I don’t see why you can’t hire a tutor for $30 a morning, 5 days a week, for no more than $500 or $600 a month. Try Couchsurfing and the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree and ask around. By the way, anyone want to travel across Eastern Europe and really really want to get to know some people, try a Couchsurfing adventure! I met a few people who traveled from Germany to Japan and never paid for a night in a hotel!”>Couchsurfing and made an account and emailed everyone in Odessa who spoke English and asked if anyone could refer me to a Russian tutor. 6. I desire greatly to follow a similar path as yours…I have already decided that I’m only going to seriously date (eventually marry and possibly move out of the west) a woman from South America or the East (Europe/Russia/Central Asia)…I’ve had it and can’t take this crap anymore!

      • Thanks Scott! I have always known there was something wrong with the West. Even when I was younger (in university), I just did not prefer (most) women from my (femi-nazi) country. I am so happy that I was not one of those poor chumps that married some chick the same age as me just after graduating. Now I’m in my 30s with an increasing SMV; in much better bargaining position.

        • That is one thing we have in our advantage; we can always date younger – a woman over 35 is going to have a tough time finding a man for marriage and family.

  7. That’s why I think it’s funny when even some feminist men try to push some BS crap on me…you better settle because you are not getting any younger or your standards are too high. Very interesting because even here in the femi-nazi west, western women under 25 have given or attempted to give an old man (LOL!!) like me (in his 30s) their number w/out me even asking…this proves something biological is clicking in their brains…women prefer mature men with something to offer…too bad they are not bringing much to the table these days compared to the pre-1960 generation.
