I don’t think it would be fair to write an article about how bad it is to be a fat woman without offering my own suggestion about how to not be a fat person.  There isn’t really a line to determine whether you’re packing too many pounds (if you’re not following the CDC guidelines), but judging by the photos above it is easy to say that each image sequentially becomes less attractive with the possible exception of the first image.

body-fat-percentage-menYour humble author has done his part to reduce the his own occupation of space, and I am happy to report that I successfully lost 15 pounds over the course of a month by eating cleaner.  For reference I was (and still am) between the 20-25% marks. I started by spending one week doing the diet below, meaning no soda, candy or flavor.  Just kidding about the flavor.  The sizes of the portions were not limited except where noted, but if I were to go through with doing it again I would have more than three meals by splitting up the lunch.

Crash DietI may just do the diet again, as I lost 10 of those 15 pounds during that week.  I enjoyed cooking for this diet ahead of time, and had to purchase plastic containers for the meals, but I found it relaxing to enjoy a meal with a plate at a table.  It was something I was not used to being the ultimate bachelor that I am right now.

After the week, I found it easy to change my diet to toast/tomatoes/eggs for breakfast, salad/fruit for lunch and steak/chicken and salad for dinner.  I still have a soda 2-3 times per week, but not the 6 cans per day I was having before.
