  3. So as one of the earliest readers and lovers this blog – a blog which helped guide me towards my own little piece of Eastern European heaven, I would like to offer some advice:

    1. Don’t think that because you and your wife are of the same traditional mindset your daughter will also be. My girl from Ukraine has a daughter (as far as I’m concerned my daughter and the light of my life – I am one of the few guys I know who didn’t mind meeting a girl who already had a child, as long as the child was young). She calls me papa, and calls my mother and father ouma and oupa (granny and grandpa). Though not biological, she is more my daughter than many biological father/daughter relationships – the words father and mother are both verbs, as is love.

She was 5 when I met her for the first time and she and her mother have been with me for about 3 years now. For my daughter, being raised for the last 3 years in a western-culture country has had an influence and I can see it already. That feminist entitled mentality and the modern Disney sitcom bullshit has influenced her and I often have to discipline when she speaks to us in a uppity little attitude. It will be an uphill battle to combat feminist propaganda if you are raising your child in the west and even in the large Eastern European cities.

So I just want you to be aware of that. It helps having an Eastern European mother and a strong traditional father who sees through the feminist agenda. But just a heads up. The mother and father’s attitude and views won’t be enough. You might need to block some TV channels and combat crappy friends, even at a young age. All the best. You’re off to a better start than a feminist man and feminist woman couple would be.

I’ve been following this blog since you just recently met your girl, so CONGRATS!

    • Thanks for your input.

First off, her Mother is (and will be) quite militant with an anti-feminist bias.
Her Grandmother, (my Wife’s Mother), even more so.

We don’t watch television. We download movies but will only have the TV on after the kid(s) are in bed.

I look at some of the ethnic groups that have maintained their cultural heritage, even when outside of their home countries, for generations and I take example: Armenians, Jews, Chinese, even the Gypsies. I believe that it all comes down to how much you invest in your kids. I have friends and family who have children who are raised in front of the TV.

To this day, I have no idea who the Kardashians are nor why they are popular. The closest connection I have to popular culture is that we downloaded the latest season of “House of Cards.”

If it comes to home schooling, so be it.
If it means no TV – ever, so be it.

No, my Kid won’t have an iPhone, iPad or Samsung. She will read books and play outside. No teen magazines, no Disney feminist cartoons.

My Wife and I will find like-minded families (maybe Russians) and we will form our own little community where we live. There are still conservatives around.

      • Congrats again!

When she is old enough maybe regular (and extended) holidays/vacations to Russia around New Year’s/Christmas, Easter, or summer time would be useful. At least she will get two Christmases and Easters every year.

When I was younger, I had friends whose parents (or they at least had one parent) that were from other countries — and would get a nice 2 to 3 month vacation (sometimes forced..ha..ha) with the grandparents/relatives in places like Israel, Germany, UK, Pakistan, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica, Brazil, Korea, France, Argentina, Peru, etc….

  4. Hi Scott and Alana: Heaven’s Blessings to you all. God bless you with his love and protection. My family and I wish you and yours, all the best.

  5. Hello, scott and alena, congratulations to you both on the safe arrival of your little girl, and may you all have many years of happiness.sincere regards and best wishes to you all.

    Rodney.

  6. Congratulations Scott and Alana! In my case my Ukrainian bride Lyudmila and I were married about 3 weeks ago in a civil ceremony for purposes of adding her to the medical insurance, and this past weekend we had a very fun full blown family wedding at a resort lake.

  7. WOAH! Congratulations, Scott! So happy to hear such great news!

I read WWS for a couple years already and your posts made me rethink my decisions. I have a great debt of hope to you for showing me how there are more people wanting a happy marrige.

Now you come with these awesome news and I am super happy for you! Make it double since my birthday is also on Oct, 2nd!

Anyway, I hope you can raise her to be as awesome as her mom and dad are! I’m sure you can do it!

Keep up the good work! ;)

    • No. I am hopeful that my Daughter will date a nice young Man, one who respects her and who will marry her, not treat her like a play toy. I desire, and expect, that she will marry and have a family of her own and I will be super Grand-dad and teach them all sorts of cool life skills. After all, I have to have someone to pass down the family legacy and fortune ;-)

  8. Hello Scott and Family,

Frohe Weihnachten!! May you and your growing family be blessed in every way.

Thank you for providing this blog for the men who wish and desire to change their lives, their futures and have love/respect and honor with a lovely lady from overseas.

I am sure that 2016 will be full of new and interesting posts. Its been great having a place to give my thoughts, comments and rants. My whole purpose when I open my mouth is to give the truth, vs the corrupt agencies that are taking money and not providing serious opportunities.

To those that I’ve met in the past year: Seeker, Paul, FC. Its been great reading your posts. I wish you all a safe Holiday season and prosperous New Year.

    God bless….
    Rodney
